It is an excellent resource for those with cancer seeking complementary therapies to minimize the side effects of chemotherapy or manage pain. And its written for the consumer as well as professionals. And its free!

Only tells what herbs do does not give dosage recommendations how to prepare or administer

Ive been looking for an app like this for a long time. I work at a supplement store and although Ive memorized an impressive amount of information, its impossible to thoroughly remember everything. This will be perfect to use as a reference on those few that I cant remember. You even included a lot of information about the studies done which is such an important aspect!

It provides great info on herbs and the like, but no context. You cant reference herbs by use and action. The only way you can look them up is by name.

This looks like a good app, but i cant tell for sure, because every time i try to open it, it shuts rite back down! Any body else have this problem.

Great info and nice variety. Would love if there was also vitamins and minerals, but even w/o i know i will be using often.

I would like to be able to search by symptom, such as "nausea" and have a list of suggested herbs. Otherwise, very informational if you feel like browsing around or know a specific herb youd like to research.

The people who produced this app are clearly against natural medicine. If you believe in natural treatment dont even bother downloading it. I did not even want to give it one single star.

This is a great app and very informative especially for the physician, but there is one problem, make it available in landscape mode for my iPad. If you can work on that, I would be truly greatful and also give you the fifth star

Fantastic app. Mentions herbal benefits, contraindications, warnings and notes. Definitely better than other aggregate references.

I am very happy I came across this app! Ive shared it with my classmates. Its a simple, quick tool I can reference to.

Please make this available for landscape mode. I really like it but will probably delete it because it will not work in landscape mode. : (

For such a site, the graphic presentation of the entries should be more carefully executed. Perhaps it would be a more cumbersome app to manage, but it should be an essential part of the information.

Too many disclaimers. According to this app most herbs are deadly and should not be used for any health issues. Do your own research to find that most herbs are safer than pharmaceutical drugs. Dont download this app.

App works great, no problems Ive yet encountered, and you can read it offline. I like that this is science based and gives a balanced view, neither dismissive of alternative and complimentary medicine, nor is it promotional. It is a good source to find what has solid evidence behind it and what doesnt.

I found this app very informative and abundant in information regarding many different herbs. There is a slight glitch in navigating from herbs back to the main menu. Overall great app!

This is a very good app for searching just about every herb you can think of. I really like that it gives very informative information on the herbs, their use, what studies have/ have not been done and what they can be potentially be used for. Really like this app and good job to the developers, keep up the good work! One comment though: if one could possibly search by problem or issue to find whats recommended rather than going through each one to see what can be used for what issue, other than that, great job! I still give it 5 stars because I love all the information it gives and its a very clean and organized app.

This app was a good app for getting basic information on herbs. Just upgraded and now it crashes when I attempt to load it. Using an iPhone 5s with iOS 8.4.1.
